And the alternative was? 10% unemployment, more people unable to repay housing loans bigger strain on economy. $733 per year per person for me has been worth every dollar. I have a job, I can manage my mortgage and I spend creating more work. I don't particularly like the current Govt however the alternative without the spending by Govt was far worse. IMHO
