Not hard to track down at all what Bowen had said, there is a lot of stuff out there where he has backtracked on and this government as well with their so called plan. They are making it up as they go, as the old saying goes "the squeaky door gets the most oil" and that is what is happening here now.

its the farmers who have most to lose with climate change

Yes it will be big time and will only raise shop prices and what is most concerning there is no detail in the approach this will go.

Bowen has said there will be no extra taxes with this pledge, so what is the "plan".

Charge a fee for a commodity, it's not a tax as they say just like the "Solar metering Service Charge" they charge everyone a fee with solar for what.

Will a methane fee be added to every animal sold.

Will a methane fee be added to every tractor sold that is used in farming.

And the list will go on and on, and with Chalmers talking down the economy and prices rising this will all add more price rises to the everyday person buying food just to stay alive.

If everyone on here thinks this is a great move then don't complain when your grocery bill will get a lot more higher than it is now with this so called methane pledge that they told the voting public they were not going to sign.
