Labour govt.s are the same all over the world. UK Labour opened its doors to over 5 million people of Indian and black origin as unskilled labour. New Zealand, not sure of numbers of Maories migrated to NZ since Clark's been in power. Greece (PASOK Labour govt)opened the doors to some 2 million Albanians and Russians. Any regular visitors to any of these countries will see for themselves the difference, especially with crime, drugs, gangs etc. Labor (Oz) will open the doors to migrants of all types, regardless of their skill levels, so long as they can vote. This labor govt is going to entrench itself in power for a long time, buoyed by the extra votes of some 2 million migrants, mostly from Asia. Just watch!
