It's a giant bucket of free money, it'll get bipartisan support and quietly get snuck through while no-one is looking. Besides how can anyone come out against it as soon as they start talking about domestic violence and child alcohol abuse..... it'll happen.

yep, little by little they are eroding what little ability people have to save capital to invest in themselves and into business. Easy targets are cigarettes, booze and they'll start to ratchet up the fuel levy soon. I'd assume there will be a tax on sugar drinks and takeaway at some point too...... there is no way they can't keep their sticky fingers out of the multibillion dollar fast food industry.
