I think the Fed should just print 9, 1 x Trillion Dollar notes, they can then use them to pay off their entire Federal debt.
While they're at it, they may as well print another 48, 1 x Trillion Dollar notes and pay off their entire State and County debt as well.
They would only cost a bit more than a $1 dollar note to print.
All debts paid off.
Problem solved, start again.
