@SonicBlast; now that the dead hand of the Coalition has been taken off the throat of renewables throughout Australia and certainty is finally coming to federal energy policy businesses are already adopting new technologies of which wind turbines are just one example.

Victoria's NorthEast region is home to Mars's Pet Food manufacturing plant, one that consumes a lot of energy for cooking. It's decided to give Finland's 'graphite battery' a trial ruin before transitioning fully to renewables:

" A 'graphite battery' in Wodonga will be Australia's first commercial thermal energy storage "
"... The Mars Petcare facility, one of the largest pet-food makers in the country, will take delivery of a "graphite battery" later this year, as part of a trial to reduce emissions and ultimately save money. ..."

Such innovations will enable the plant to remain competitive and to minimise its environmental footprint, something the Coalition has prevented for almost a decade now. As a major local employer that's also great for NE Vic.
