so what we have is not the retail FiT but the rate charged to retailers.

retailers will decide what FiT they can afford to pay small scale (residential) electricity exporters.

@Scott th Ratbag; when our 66c pkwh FIT ends later this year we'll be weighing up our options including:
1. The Full Monty - disconnect from the grid, EVs, upgrade home solar system, large home battery, backup generator ...
2. Remain connected to the grid, EVs, upgrade home solar system, large home battery, wear whatever bills come out way.
3. Remain connected to the grid, stick with current FF vehicles [both are fuel efficient, low kms], upgrade home solar system, large home battery, ...
4. Roll with the punches - let the current cars and solar system see us out [we're in our seventies] and wear down the credit we've already accumulated with RED.
5. Downscale - move into a low maintenance apartment in town and wear whatever pollies do to us.
