    Was it poor same store sales growth? It was negative wasn't it??

    Stocks like Harvey Norman or JB Hi Fi or any retailer that had negative same store sales would be well smashed on the market - most our retailers hit 3% same store or so and the market still gets angry.

    Put in a negative effort and you will get smashed.

    SBB should really stick to the distribution model, not owned stores, it was better, used no capital, and made more money. Owning their own stores is not smart. Surely they could have gone from 400 distribution stores to 4000 - they don't need to own the lease or pay for fit outs to be really successful. Adds risk they don't need.
