Really surprised by the market's reaction to Nick Scali H1 25 results : share price up by 14 %, reaching a new 52 weeks high.
These results were above company's guidance both for ANZ and the UK.
Anyway, the ANZ results do not look that great to me with a sales decrease (which continues in H2 so far), a decrease of gross margin and an increase of expenses.
Such a share price reaction is probably explained by the fact that the market had low expectations and probably consider these results as the bottom for the company, which should also benefit from the expected decrease of interest rates.
Interesting also to note that Harvey Norman is also reaching a 52 weeks high.
Probably a positive sign for the rest of the sector, unless companies publish really poor results.
