Thank you for your kind words tau.

I am a bit lost the last couple of weeks without my daily swim to be honest. It took ages to be able to swim, finding a specialist physio familiar with lymphodema and muscle/tendon issues related to removal of lymph nodes. But we did. I say we because hubby is a force de majeur with my rehab. I really couldn't let him down.

As you mention, nature and the environment is so theraputic. We live on a steep, hilly property and to be able to get outside, see my bees, flowers, feel the sun is so important to me. My wheelchair just wouldn't do what I needed it to and after one particularly exciting downhill rumble I was banned from using the wheelchair by myself. I did however, build up great arm muscles before my banning! Realising how important being outside was to me, hubby has built my tower of flowers or perhaps more fittingly, my tower of power. He went and bought 33 big plastic pots and planted them in every bee and butterfly attracting flower he could find, mostly from our garden. It is 10 foot from our deck and has an automatic water timer. It is however, now huge. I can see the bees even when I'm inside and the cherry tomatoes the currawongs have provided are so sweet. I am able to walk now but my tower of flowers is staying put even if it is hard to mow around! Maybe you might be up for a smaller version? Only watered for 15 mins a day. Cheers, Michele
