I don't know why, but I like the Irish accent and their singers.
The wife's Father was Irish but her parents split up when she was very young, he was an alcoholic.
So, she has little memory of him.

I can pretty much play anything, so long as I know it's tune, hence it is whatever comes to mind, but that still does not cut it for her.
She just simply does not like music on it's own, without singing.
Music or playing it, can certainly take you to many places, and that can also be happy or sad places.
It can also be your own little time out zone, just switch off the world around you and let the music take you places.

Great to hear, re your eldest Daughter.

I have recently made the acquaintance of an Irish singer and 'boy' can he sing! some of his songs are pretty unknown . . .
