@Margaret63 - I made my Cajun Seafood soup on Sunday - and all it cost me was 1 kg of mixed seafood (Marinara) from Woolworths ($14) and a few select veggies, like green beans, asparagus stalks, tomatoes (as well as sauce, but Italian) small decorative pumpkins, only a few, cut up nicely, carrots, 2 parsnips and a few mushrooms - and then make a base for the soup with either real chicken soup or soup cubes, spices, onions etc. as well as a tin of coconut cream (and curry and paprika). I had cooked a smoked hock the day before and used that water as a base - will have enough soup for another 2 days' food. Really cheap and really healthy - and if you wantg to stretch it, add more vegetables, but steam them separately, before adding to the soup.
(however, today at Philosophy I ate two not very nice dougnuts - have to make my own and bring them to Philosophy next week).

I am going to start writing down, what I spend on food!
re shares: I think we are due to have a down-turn - am watching my stocks closely.
    Go well
