@Joannie - he reminded me so much of my late husband! we had that good relationship (and he was beautiful too, and strong etc., except he wasn't OCD - haha!! - rather the opposite), propping each other up in difficult circumstances - except I let him down in his last agony . . . will never forgive myself for that . . . (but of course, I was affected by what had happened to me at work and should have sought help for that.)
re Beckham: I was really shocked how 'the clubs' and managers are dealing with their players, almost like selling 'human flesh' - I never knew this, probably read about it in the papers, but it never sunk in, how it affects the players. The whole 'mateship' thing, especially in his original home club 'Man-U' was amazing too. Not to forget his wonderful wife, Victoria!! - and both: so good-looking! I felt good after viewing this!! - didn't feel that way after watching 'Supersex' (an Italian Netflix movie about a real-life male porn star, one Rocco Siffredi) - also about male relationships (and what 'they' call 'love') - can't recommend it, unless you have a strong stomach - in film, of course, all 'make-believe'.
Stockmarket: I have decided to cut my losses and will probably sell all my holdings. Go well - I still love 'your'! little forget-me-nots - thankyou, they mean a lot - will probably attach them to my larger golden gypsy-earrings. Taurisk
