@Joannie Have a happy weekend - my 'friend' for whom I would do anything, hasn't even bothered to look or check my long post on the other thread. (I have been nowhere) - so I'll have it removed - too much info. re jelly: the idea is to have some every day, even just the powder stirred into a smoothy would do you good. ATM I have revived the custom of cooking bones, skin, innards etc. for at least 5 hours and getting the jellied soup as a result - have a pork knuckle boiling right now on the kitchen stove (but that needs to be washed thoroughly and the skin scored - I buy the smoked ones from Coles, not cheap) Of course, there are people who 'sniff' at pork - I say to them: any bone soup will do you good - just make sure, you use free-range chicken and other meats from a known and good supplier.
