I am a knitter. It's a big subject.... One thing for sure is your alpaca jumper, a beautiful fibre, shrunk due to the way you washed it...the temperature of the water, the way you washed it, maybe roughly, the way you enabled it to dry, perhaps not removing excess water, etc etc etc. I knit a great deal. I sleep under alpaca blanket and an alpaca quilt during our cold winters... Alpaca is a warmer fibre than wool for an interesting reason....bye for now...
