@noddan I luvvvv "Minuscule", have probably seen every single episode, at least twice . . . . I will pass on your good wishes to NoBoDe - he is truly in a bad way, and i sometimes come away from a conversation, crying. and he insists in me passing on to everyone, first his good wishes and secondly his admonition 'do not smoke, EVER' Too late for him, I think - and I shudder to think what else is in store for him, but he has a good doctor, so maybe something will make him last as long as possible. Good on you for being such a good gardener - I was very disappointed this year, because I always await the harvest of the European plum, which is oblong, has yellow and firm flesh and is perfect for 'dumplings' (I make a kind of gnocchi pastry, roll it out, portion it, and then enclose the full plum in it, drop in boiling salted water, cook gently for a while - gently - and either serve rolled in ground and sweetened poppy-seed, or fried breadcrumbs dusted with icing sugar and some browned butter - they are yummy - same can be made with apricots, but alas neither were available this year . . . )
You seeing things in fruit? Yes NBD has a penchant for that, still does it on occasions . . . I shall report back. All the best Taurisk ❤️
