@dolcevita - a sensible post - not often said. I was lucky: I had a husband who worked - often 2 jobs, - so did I at times and we shared the housework - he simply picked up a vacuum cleaner and did the lot - a 2-story house - and did this major job regularly - I never had to ask him.
That said: I have met many, especially European men, who simply lord it over their wives - and they expect to be served on hand and foot , freshly cooked meal every day etc. etc. - hence the divorce rate -
I don't know about this person, though - some people simply like to whinge - - so let it be - let it be . . .
There is no conversation to be had, it's either their way or the highway.
I like your last phrase: 'Slaves like to get free' - works for both, men and women.
P.S. So far, I have had the most wonderful birthday, (I was never ever going to celebrate), and it will continue tomorrow - invited some friends to a restaurant for lunch, and
