@dolcevita - thanks a lot - it means a lot coming from you ! - I have appreciated your sparse, but always informative, posts over time! My birthday was great, I do know some nice people, who like to inquire deeply into all sorts of 'stuff' and we had a 'meeting' yesterday and it was totally productive, plus lots of phone calls - and a lunch today . . . re: dating: I have now been a widow for the same period of time as i had been married - have tried dating - now long ago - it was usually a comedy of errors and wrong expectations. I should simply have picked up with one of my husband's friends (after his death) who was interested, but I felt no 'passion' for - who needs 'passion'??? it would have worked - nice, accommodating man, well off, genial, instead I 'recommended' a friend . . . . and she's had a wow of a life with him - but that's life; It will take us where our psychology leads us - and we don't even know we are doing it.
