Yeah the idea of joining the Toyota LandCruiser Club was 1. to learn more about LC200 and how to use it and 2. go on trips with a group, always safer to travel off road in groups. They have a trip planned for the Gibb River Road later this year, I'd love to do it but it's a 7000km trip and about 2 weeks so will have to see if I can take the time off
LOL Y62 is defiantly a beast and modified exhaust make it sound like one too, thirsty bugger, it's certainly a rival for the LC300 which is yet to prove it's better than the LC200. My beast has the modified exhaust, sounds and drives like a V8 petrol.
In theory with 273l fuel capacity I could do Perth to Sydney or Brisbane with just one fuel stop, will certainly be doing some big trips like those
Bit of a light weight that Xtrail, 215/65R16 tyres look small. Gees my Ute has 235/35 19 the beast has 285/65 18. LC 200 has 232 hp of maximum power and 615 Nm of maximum torque so a little more than the Xtrail lol
Dare say you need more than a few drops of rain, your water tanks must be getting low
