Sounds good. Yes tag along is a good way to get familiar with a new 4x4 and get a few tips as well.
You could be right about the previous owner many plan the big trip and then other things get in the way.
I’m thinking they couldn’t resist a Y62 when they heard 1 with modified exhaust and upgraded.

You’ll be able to cruise over to the Brisbane or was it Sydney boat show through the centre via the Simpson, Big Red will be a breeze.
Yes talked to a few owners of Y62 most happy with them.

Just topped up the tank on the beast, 80lt after 463km so that just over 17lt per 100km Ouch. I suppose all the extras and carrying extra 200lt fuel adds to the weight and fuel consumption

I'm interested to see what the consumption is of a long Hwy run
