I have learnt much about what the beast is equipped with and what she can do, seems she is very well equipped. So while the beast is quite capable, I'm still lacking the practical experience of using the functions and capabilities
I have now completed the required prerequisites to become a member of a 4x4 club but with most of the committee heading off for a national conference it maybe a month or so before I officially become a member and can join some trips were visitors (non members) can join in.
Didn't think much of it before but now realise that off road travelling solo with little experience with 4x4 is not a good idea, so joining the 4x4 club is a good move.
LOL getting lots of feed back form club members about the beast, they are impressed how well equipped it is and amused to how I brought it without realising how well equipped it is. I have started writing a story of that journey and must say it's an interesting one, I might be bias LOL
Signed up for a few more trips, next one will be driving on a sand (beach) which will be a new experience. Another is with a trip leader who also has a LC200 so hope to learn a bit from him.
One of my suppliers said there was a opportunity for me to tow a boat from here to Gold Coast and attend the boat show there, SCIBS. Yeah not sure about that LOL. Uncle Barry and other Trump worshippers around there lol
I do look forward to the importunity to take the beast beyond the WA border but don't think it will happen this year
