I wanted a white Land Cruiser, last colour I wanted was black. But it had the basic accessories ie bull bar, snorkel and tow bar and the price was right. That I later realised it has about $30-$40k of accessories was a huge bonus. Yes Black is cooler but I was more concerned with how it shows up the dirt
Having done the 4 trips I am blown away how capable the beast even without using front/rear diff locks and crawl control ect. And I am very pleased with the Hwy mileage I got, seem it takes a bit to get it into 6th gear while in Auto so flicking it into manual and put it into 6th does the trick. Seems like it doesn't mind sitting on 60kmh while in 5th gear
Black looks great when it's clean, gave it it's first wash yesterday after owing it for two months and 4 off road 4x4 trips. It was bloody dirty and lots of scratches but after the wash scratches don't look quite as bad.
I'll get the scratches polished out and put Bushwrap on it before heading off road again, the Bushwrap is DIY and at about $1400 will save me a lot of grief
