Got fingered for a complicated NGO job due to my long standing history and friendship with the Pashtun tribal khans of the North West Frontier and Afghanistan (not connected to the Taliban).
Don't believe everything you hear about that part of the world. The people are friendly and hospitable, despite their complicated culture and the wars.
