I wrote a paper in my first degree many years ago, titled "Women have been distanced from technology by man's manipulation of the tools, time and means" . This popped into my mind as I read this post The internet was just rearing it's head and I was entranced by Anne Summers feminist bible, Damned Whores and God's Police. I started uni when I was 15 and a half, off a farm, from a family which was and still is dominated by my father. He doesn't physically abuse my mother any more but she is a broken woman Equality for women hasn't always been there Justis, women still fight for it every day, perhaps a bit more noisily and I still fight for my mother. And as for looking for a man who is willing to compromise his needs and wants, .. I'm gonna have to read Anne's book again.
