I did eat raw fish decades ago, in Fiji I recall but it was marinated in lemon or coconut or something.
Details escape me - it was so long ago.
F one J one was a cheap escape o/s for those on the east of Oz and was cheaper to go to than to fly
north in winter in days gone by.
