Who was taking blood pressure when I was sitting in chair - remote controlled automatic cuff.
Pre op I was fussed over with heated blankets and in pre op room had cocoon on me with warm air
pumped in to have hot legs and veins easier to see.
All so new and exciting.
Did not even feel needle in hand from aneathetist.
Will know what to expect next time.

Fabulous weather in Melbourne and did a 20 min walk in garden last night and again in the early
hours of this morn.

Had text from friend R and she is in more trouble with her knees than I am. Cortesone injections and fluid poor love.
Our timing couldn't be worse when it comes to looking after each other.

Best not write a book. Back to see surgeon today. Under instructions not to shower for 48 hours. Lovely filthy oldie.

Glad everything went well. Good to hear about sis too. And good on your walking. Sounds like fast healing, happy doctors and nurses.

I even had a fun conversation with govt office who for 3 years couldn't get our address right. Well, we chatted and viola, the system worked. Today will be a great day
