Little compliant, at restaurant last night and went to order a bottle of wine that I had tried there last year and quite liked. I asked that I would need to keep the top as I would not be drinking the whole bottle and would take the rest home.
I get told that it was not allowed by law, strange had done that many a time before without any issue. He insisted that they could lose their licence if he allowed so even if I only had one glass of wine from the bottle I would have to leave the rest behind
Check with my son and he tells me it is allowed, check the government website and is confirmed that if you have wine with your meal you are allowed to take the unconsumed wine home. Might go back there tonight, if so will print off that page to show him.
