Given how complex people are and we are all unique, it's no surprise that scientist have not worked it all out. LOL the explore the universe looking for answers yet they have not worked out what makes us tick.
While much research has gone into understanding the brain how it works ect there is still so much that we don't know, ie how we think, dream. imagine, solve problems.
Then there is the question, do we have a spirit/soul or some thing of the like.
I recall reading the book where a Psychologist used hypnotism to explore people's life and past life, quite sure I have posted about it but if not I can post again
