A gloss sealer might reflect too much sun light and maybe non gloss sealer might be the go???
I know I looked at marble originally for this place but would need to wear sunglasses indoors because of the reflection. Most people know slippery when wet and most these days wear rubber soled shoes.
I did once have slate around an in ground outdoor spa in my first home as a single again - would not seal that and needed to take a bit of care.
I missed my swimming pool but had no room - second best choice for me.
