March 12th 2019. Problem is, i think is the cost of standby time of up to tens of thousands a day. I know what you are saying "How much is a life or property worth. But i am not sure with all the fires around Aus at the moment we would need a hundred of them and then they would just sit around for the rest of the year. Future land management is what we need. Restricted areas between cities/towns and the bush. Harsher penalties for fire lighters etc etc.
I feel for you as i know what it is like to stress over family members at this time. Not much of a blessing but you could be living in the bush. What about poor NoBoDe is he still around.
