Because in my tasteful opinion, it looks shite and like an entry to an old persons home who cannot use a nob. Also silly
knocker as opposed to keep the clean lines on the door with just key lock and knob and have a bell set to one side.
I really think that would look better. Maybe a Gainesborough door knob with silver backing and black knob? You might
like the inside knob in white with silver?
