big e - two of my closest friends are scorpios - well, I have two: a woman and a man.

Yet I am still not sure, if I lay great store by the star signs.

We certainly have a way to work with or against ideas - generalising here wildly: I remember becoming aware that I was a Capricorn as a child, by reading in a peasant almanac my grandfather owned (one of two books, the other was about WWI) and saw the negative side of the Capricorn and decided there and then 'this wasn't me' and 'I would never be like that' - so the written word, and in olden times the 'spoken' word as spoken by an important person, priest, witch etc. does have great influence and in my case; knocked me into the opposite (the good) direction of Capricorn and I most likely took on some virtues which weren't in my DNA, nor were they in the stars, but abstract concepts in a book, which inspired me.

Years ago I came across a tape which I somehow found and it was a horoscope reading for a Capricorn born on the same day as myself, only 25 years before and it was uncanny how close our life paths were. I've still got it somewhere, still don't know how I came to own it, as I don't know the woman 'from Adam' as the saying goes . . . . I have had some strange synchronicity things happen in my life, but as I am a fairly rational character I kind of dismiss it - store it up somewhere - possibly expecting more of the same to mount up and then to look at it again with critical appraisal.

I was also rather pleased when I found out that the character of Phryne Fisher (Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries) was born on the 13th January - something else to only aspire to, impossible to reach confused.pngsmile.png
    Go well
