Lovely writing for a very poetic scene.

Many years ago I say on the seashore at sunset and was inspired to write this little poem.

Evening Lullaby

An array of glorious colours across the evening sky.

The moonlight is shining, over a changing tide.

Silver linings fade into an ever darkening bliss.

Small waves sift the sand and make a lullaby hiss.

The air stands still, in quiet and resolved expectation.

Day makes way for night giving a resounding salutation.

The exchange is perfect, a full and complete surrender.

As night envelopes day, with a kiss so full and tender.
