one of my cousins has a house in the south of Italy where she lives six months of the year. Not that far from Naples. It’s beautiful. It’s peaceful. It’s interesting. Of course Vesuvius could erupt @Taurisk but then lake Taupo in New Zealand is a volcano and all over the world people live on or near volcanoes. Kagoshima in Japan is due for its volcano to erupt and I reckon if I went around the world we’d find plenty more. Earthquakes are due on the San Andreas fault and then look at Christchurch which suddenly found itself with a fault line it didn’t know existed. I think people got the most part live where they and their family have lived and have a fatalistic view of life.
