Back to gardening. I finally worked out what the prickly weed is in my garden. It’s prickly lettuce. I am pretty sure that the Italian gardeners that gave the gift of olive and fig trees were also partial to it as an addition to their vegetable patch. I’ve decided I’m going to try overcome all the learned aversion to weeds and try it along with the self seeded Italian parsley.
