I believe the telling part are the crinkled finger tips -
everyone has grooves inside the palm of the hand - they are different in different people and skilled palm readers can tell all sorts of things from them; and this is no longer a dark art either, it is taken seriously in some hospitals in Germany - I have done a bit of palm-reading for fun, just know some basics, it is certainly no way to look into the future like; 'I can see a journey' etc. etc.
