People can knit their own cotton toilet paper, just shake it, rinse it and then wash every few days in washing machine. Pure cotton. Use fresh one each time. OK, I admit, that is just a theory. But my knitted papers are quite pretty, and more comfortable I'd reckon as very much softer than using leaves from a tree. (Got at least 20 more of these, lol).
