No. It gets sadder. She was hit by a neighbour and left to die on the road. Scraped up and taken to vet. Was rung at 2 am to be told she couldn't be saved. She was also a stray looking for a home which she had with me. However, nothing near as long a time as I had with "Puss" my grey beauty.
