now why would you need to tell me you’re not an intellectual. Do I sound like I am. I’m not even sure what the word really means. I always thought my parents were intellectual snobs. In retrospect I don’t think they were necessarily but more that they didn’t know how to talk to others.

I’m a heart person probably and you might have noticed it’s got me into trouble I just need to use my brain at work and have learnt to be clinical. One unexpected gift from the ex has been to make me more focused on being kind and to really hone the skill of problem solving to take emotion out of it. I don’t take offence that easily now because I can see what is going on. But I find abuse intolerable and I’m much much more alert to bullies.
