I am a stabber of knobs (phone ones, of course) myself. My friends no I can't work out how to answer my phone and that I will always have to ring back. I am still trying to learn and this morning, I was actually successful. I think the action is a gentle, slow (not stabby-like) motion. I always use a stylus rather than my finger and keep wearing out the rubber at the end, so need to replace them quite regularly. I bought two a few days ago. I still like to type on my clicketty clack keyboard on my desk top. I am guessing you are a touch typist (I think we have discussed this) and would also chose this big keyboard over the mobile phone's "keyboard".
