Please forgive - but here is a really useful video, which I found instructive (I have been using a knobless phone since 2012 - and it was strange and difficult at the beginning)
The video is made by a man who speaks slowly and deliberately and shows all the necessary finger movements to get a modern mobile screen to perform all the functions.
If you have large hands, you will probably just hold the mobile in one hand and type with the other; I hold phone in my left hand and use my pointer finger of the right hand for typing and other actions on this newer phone, it was easier on the old Nokia. Some delicate Asian people (and some Westerners, too) with little hands hold the phone in a prayer position in front of body and busily type with both thumbs. Real show-offs hold in left hand and type with left thumb - phoohey to them!!mad.png
