I noticed the grazing. A trip to visit someone who had stayed with me in melbourne led to an invitation to dinner. He was in a good job and both his parents were professors but I still felt they had probably squandered a months salary on the feast - grazing style. Sumptuous. Generous. Delicious. My sort of feast. I’m pretty sure my Jewish family moved from Latvia to the Netherlands. So maybe that’s why I had an affinity with that part of the world!!!
