    this is the ultimate description of Uriah Heap. The slimy ingratiating tone of a Dickensian character intended to win favours that merely leads to usury, pity and disparagement.

    the voice that slips and slides over truth and honour in the pursuit of self interest. The globules of words falling like greasy bacon dripping into the space left by the querulous master seeking dominance over others.

    the handwringing of the subordinate who exists solely on the promise of favours and cares little for the morality of his twisted truth.

    the slicked, dirty hair and grubby clothes betraying a desperation and fear through which cloud he crawls, ever eager to please in the hope that he might save his body even if his soul has rotted.
