@Justis - I know it wasn't serious, but I have totally fallen in love with this ragged blow-in - my Lillecat. She acts like a dog - comes to the front door when people come, inspects their cars - is there when they leave. Gives me a huge ' I like you' when she spots me out in the garden - definitely not a 'food only' love.
I have never met a cat as unabashed and unafraid as her - it will be interesting to see what happens when youngest daughter asks me to mind her two Schnauzers . . . . I probably have to watch out for scratched noses, THEIRS!
Strangely though, she doesn't eat meat, just a certain kind of cat biscuit, not even the popular one, but one from ALDI. Yet she had brought me two small (and dead - broken neck) rabbits in the first few weeks, none since - thank G.d!! Go well Taurisk
