oh I agree with that part of the post but I think she knew exactly what she was getting anyway and decided the prize was worth it. I’d also say that the relationship was broken before the 2016 election but she was a necessary part of appearances so she negotiated a deal to stay and do her thing. I can understand her using her power but it doesn’t mean to say I approve. I imagine that part of the deal was that she had to occasionally look like she cared.
I’d imagine in their household this scene plays out rather often With each of them taking their turn
