Next compliant, called the tax office because my BAS statement shows my next PAYG instalment is over $20k. Can't be right, have done my 2020 tax return and account put my quarterly PAYG at a fraction of that.
Guy at the tax office doesn't have a clue, say it will be passed on for review and I will get a reply in a month. Arh excuse me BAS is due next week! Oh he says, you can pay the $20k and get a refund after the review. WTF
