I never saw them live - wasn't even aware of their existence, even though I had heard their songs now and then and thought they were noteworthy.
Went to a 'Chinese' round these parts with friends, found out the Chinese waiter there sometimes 'sang' for his customers, so we asked him to sing for us as well.
He offered 'Bohemian Rhapsody' - I thought' oh, something classical!' and he then produced a long, long cacaphony which was so comical we had trouble not laughing and were glad when he'd finished - but musically it made absolutely no sense. We thanked him etc.
I went home in search of what on earth this man had sung - researched and found this amazing piece of music by Queen.
I discovered them by accident, long after Freddie Mercury's death.
Amazing artist, a total musician!
