It has a wet animal odour when you wash it. Shouldn't smell once it has dried however.
Rules to follow
- All woollens should be hand-washed. Even the hand-wash cycle on your washing machine is too harsh. To help your clothes last longer, only ever hand-wash.
- Use lukewarm water. Hot water causes shrinkage and colour-bleeding.
- Never wring woollens to remove excess water - it's incredibly easy to pull them out of shape.
- Always dry woollens flat to avoid stretching.
