Hi @NoBoDe - strong women are an asset!!! -
I thought you might like to know the precise translation of 'Weibertreu' - it means 'faithful wives' - 'faithful - more in the sense of 'true' - and 'treu' not so different.
'Weiber' - is mostly used as a derogative term nowadays, although in these days of women's lib it might mean something else.

This morning I listened to a long analysis on Radio National of Angela Merkel and her life and times and her influence on her country and Europe.
She was affectionately known as 'Mutti Merkel' which translates as 'Mother Merkel' - never had children of her own.
Toast: I have put my toaster away, as I don't use it a lot, but have discovered a new way of using the top of my glass part=-electric stove top. The electric part heats up to a great temperature (which can be set) and I put a metal cake rack over that, which sits 1cm above the heat source and makes the best toast ever, can even do bread rolls on that or heat a pudding. It works more like a grill.

    have a great day
    Taurisk
