I agree life goes on. (Unless it doesn’t). Good bad whatever it is as one makes it. I’d imagine that having lost your wife after do long would have taken a bit of adjustment though.

why do we use the word lose when someone dies I wonder. It’s not as though we misplace them. It is a most interesting use of the word I think.

on the other - new hips gives a new lease on life too. I have a friend here who has been hobbling on a stick for months now. Her op is next week on both hips. It brings back memories of the pain and I can see it on her face
